 Is VitalMeds a substitute for my primary care provider?

No, VitalMeds supplements your primary healthcare and is not a substitute for your primary care provider (PCP). It's advisable to keep your PCP and other medical professionals informed about your weight management program to ensure a comprehensive approach to your health.

Is it legal to prescribe medication online?

How do I message my providers?

Once you have an account with VitalMeds, you can communicate your providers using our patient portal.

Medication and Pharmacy

Do I need a prescription?

Not at all! Our aim is to simplify and streamline this process for you. Utilizing our telehealth platform, you gain access to a network of medical professionals who can assess your individual requirements using your health data. If deemed suitable, they can then provide treatment, all at no cost to you.

Do I have to pay for my medication separately?

The program costs listed on our website encompass medication expenses (if approved by your provider). To simplify matters, you will be billed once a month for the total program cost. If you are on a three-month subscription program, we will bill you every three months.

Which Pharmacy is my medication coming from?

We collaborate with a third-party compounding pharmacy to handle your prescription (if approved). Your medication will be shipped directly from the pharmacy to the address we have on file for you.

Pharmacy: GoGo Meds DBA Jungle Jims is located at 5484 Dixie Highway Fairfield, OH 45014. They can be contacted at(877) 858-3784. They are able to dispense medications and maintain a license in 44 US states. Unfortunately, they cannot dispense sterile compounds and do not have a license in the following US states: CALIFORNIA, NEVADA, NEW JERSEY, NORTH CAROLINA, TEXAS, MASSACHUSETTS, MISSISSIPPI, NEW HAMPSHIRE, WEST VIRGINIA, and DELAWARE.

What's the difference between the 3-month starter program and monthly?

What if I am not approved for a medication?

Similar to a conventional clinic, payment covers the services provided by the healthcare providers and their time dedicated to your telehealth appointment. However, payment does not guarantee the issuance or dispensation of prescription medication.

In the event that you are not approved for a prescription, your provider can often suggest alternative therapies for which you may qualify medically.

What is GLP-1, and how does it help for weight loss?

GLP-1, a hormone that controls appetite and blood sugar. It is mimicked by medications such as semaglutide and tirzepatide to aid weight loss by decreasing appetite, food intake, body fat, body weight and regulating blood sugar levels.

What are the side effects of the medication?

Understanding the potential side effects is key. They vary based on your prescribed medication, medical history, and lifestyle. Your doctor will give you detailed information on possible side effects, keeping you fully informed in your personalized care plan.

Cost and Finance

Does VitalMeds accept insurance?

We do not participate in any public or private health insurance plans, cost-sharing arrangements, or similar payment methods.

You don't need insurance to utilize our services and products. While treatment costs may fluctuate, Vital is committed to offering cost-effective and accessible solutions to customers, eliminating the necessity for insurance coverage.

Does VitalMeds accept FSA/HSA?

Although your HSA card might be usable, we currently do not support it by furnishing itemized receipts, letters of medical necessity, or other documentation that your providers may request.

Are there any hidden fees?

No, the prices for all our plans are prominently displayed on our website.

What is the cancellation policy?

We understand that situations can change, so there are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. Your satisfaction is our priority.

What is the refund policy?
